Project: 2005 Major Mass Merchandiser Themed Event
Fulfillment Challenge: To fulfill
a national Major Mass Merchandiser Event in 3,151 Stores in one
day, with 16 kit varieties, with 28 different
vendors.
Continental's Solution: All
materials required shipping 5 days prior to the promotion,
to ensure merchandisers could inventory kit contents.
This task was accomplished with all materials being
delivered, error free. Continental was committed
to keeping shipping cost down, and achieved this
by shipping all materials directly to the stores,
with labels and instructions supplied in both
English and Spanish. Each Gaylord had a unique
skid label identifying how the skid was to be
loaded onto the truck and where it was to be delivered.
This ensured required space was available on each
LTL. Continental was able to meet all of the Mass Merchandiser's
standards and managed the entire project with
Continental’s sophisticated technology.
Project: 2004 Sorrento In-Store Product
Demonstrations
Fulfillment Challenge: To increase
the Sorrento products in the food industry by
developing a national in-store marketing campaign.
Provide support to national marketing firm in
warehousing, packaging, kit assembly, order fulfillment,
shipping and tracking.
Continental's Solution: Receive
an annual supply of all promotional and generic
items for the kit assembly. Bar-code-label each
content item with a specific project number to
support all chain specific kits. Assemble 12 kit
variations based on kit specifications designed
by the client. Ship completed kits across the
United States to demonstration agencies through
our transportation services. Provide support in
tracking, return, and re-shipment of all kits. This
task was accomplished with all kits being delivered,
error free and 100% execution by the demonstrators
at the store level.
Project: Dr. Villareal’s
Estrella Tooth Whitening Kit
Fulfillment Challenge: To support
Estrella’s Hispanic radio commercials and
television informercial ads with order fulfillment,
kit assembly and shipping of Estrella Tooth Whitening
product to customers homes.
Continental's Solution: Receive
all product from Dr. Villareal to assemble kits
for purchase and shipping to Hispanic Community.
Continental provided order processing, kit assembly,
shipping and COD payment collection. Order turn
around time was immediate. All orders received
in by 2:00 p.m. kitted and shipped the same day.
Shipments were tracked to ensure timely delivery
and collection of payment.
Continental was able to exceed all Dr. Villareal’s
expectations, orders were shipped and delivered
on-time and COD payments were collected and processed.
